Helen participated in the Irish section at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival in Bonner Sprint, Kansas (KS) and performed with the Missouri Celts Club, the Murmurs.
Helen toured the Mid-Continent Library System sharing stories from "St. Patrick's Secrets" and tales of Irish folklore and current Irish developments.

Barnes and Noble hosted a series of book signing for "St. Patrick's Secrets" and "Ah, Those Irish Colleen!" around in the Midwest area including Overland Park, Kansas (KS), Omaha, Nebraska (NE), and Colorado Sprints, Colorado (CO).
Helen was asked to be a judge in the Kansas City, Missouri's St. Patrick's Day Parade (KCMO) . . . the third largest in the country.
"I was honored to be asked," she replied.
Helen spoke at the Shepherd's Center monthly meeting. After many appearances in March, one lady expressed, "I have seen you three times and you have always had something different included in your presentation."
Helen was a guest speaker at the Celtic Crossings Radio Show with the late Joseph Patrick Farrell and on the late Walt Bodine's KCUR radio show.
Helen spoke at the Leavenworth Road Association (LRA) monthly meeting. She was formerly the first Executive Director for the association for 10 years.
Helen appeared on WDAF, Channel 4 with Mark Alford on the Noon News.
Helen appeared on KCTV5 Channel 5 with Carolyn Long and Bruce Thomas morning show.
