Today, I am introducing you to my newly released book, "Color Me Green, Ways the Irish Influenced America" that was released just this week!

There perhaps is no other culture that has influenced American traditions and lifestyle other than the Irish. From the beginning of the immigration of the Irish and Scots-Irish to this Tír na nÓg, "Land of the Young", to today. This book is a culmination of a lot of just a few of the fun facts and phrases and legends that America has picked up from the Irish.

Irish contributions to the American life from Corned Beef and Cabbage to Submarines. To Murphy’s Law to Mickey Finns.

For instance, do you know that you could be related to an Irish King? Speaking of racism, there were many signs of “NINA” – No Irish Need Apply. And a simple Irish peat bog can hold treasures that astonish the entire world.

Included are a few instances from my trips to Ireland, and the dear Irish people that I met who astounded me with “Onitshtay.”

These are just a few of the stories and anecdotes from Irish-American influence, rollicking, patriotic, paradoxical, optimistic, romantic, proud, hot tempered, musical, superstitious, religious, and typical features of the Irish Character.

I hope you will enjoy my book with as much fun as I had in writing it!

The books are available in paperback and Kindle, soon to be in audio as well.

Thank you, dear readers, for all your encouragement.
